The game is won by the player with the highest net worth, which is total value of a player's green $10,000 Asset cards minus the total of their Debt cards.

Q: I have a class of 33 students. Can I combine 4 decks and have one big game
One big game with 33 students could last up to 40 minutes. We recommend that you break your class into 4 groups and have a game going in each group. Next, take the winners from the 4 groups and have a "play off" game to determine the classroom champion.

Q: Can I match cards using the NEGATIVE number printed on the corner of some of the cards
No. Only match red, yellow, orange and blue colored debt cards by the same color or category and NOT by the negative dollar amount marked on the top right-hand corner of the card.

Q: When I put down a black Shopping Spree card and have no more cards, does the next player still draw two cards
Yes. Your turn ends immediately after the instructions on the black card are complete. In your case, the next player draws the 2 cards and then the game is scored.

Q: If I pull a Bankrupt! card from the draw stack, does that mean that I automatically discard my current hand, draw new cards and lose my turn
No. You do not play cards as you draw them from the draw pile, only when another player puts a card face up in the discard pile before your turn will you play it. Since you drew the Bankrupt! card from the draw stack, you can use it against another player on your next turn.

Q: Why does the Rainy Day Fund and the Promotion card count as NEGATIVE $5,000 when you score the game
The scoring rules are design to reward the first person playing the game who becomes debt free. Even though these cards are favorable during game play, they count against your score at the end of the game.

Q: Do black cards work the same way as a wild card in other games
It depends on the game you are comparing them to. Black event cards can be played on ANY color, just follow the instructions printed on the card.
